THE 54TH AJC PEACHTREE ROAD RACE

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race is one of Atlanta’s greatest traditions and the world’s largest 10K race. Over 50,000 runners gather annually on July 4th to run the popular course starting in Buckhead and winding all the way down into Midtown before finishing in Piedmont Park. The official race t-shirt has become the most popular aspect of the race and the chosen design is a highly guarded secret until race day. The shirt is only available to finishers of the race and has become a status symbol within Atlanta. My design was chosen for the 2023 finalist pool by a panel of judges and then voted on by the public. I ran the race myself and was ecstatic to see my design at the finish line and on Atlantans everywhere! I’m honored to have my artwork cemented into a piece of Atlanta tradition and history.
