Knightley is a platform and community for entrepreneurs to connect, angel invest, and learn how to grow their businesses together. They have recently started launching Venture Clubs that are exclusive to alumni at various universities in order to build community based around those schools. I was lucky enough to be approached by Knightley’s team as they prepared to launch the 1785 Venture Club for the alumni community at The University of Georgia. The ask was simple and also very complicated: Create vibrant and interesting UGA-themed artwork that can be generated in 10,000 variations with corresponding JSON data for full NFT collection. I began the process by building the sole character, an original Bulldog, that would appear in every single artwork. I then created various outfits, accessories, and backgrounds that related to the UGA experience in some way and tied everything together with a peachy, psychedelic color palette. The last step was generating all the variations through a combination of HashLips Engine and various Photoshop Scripts. The end result is a funky, fresh collection that captures the imaginative spirit of UGA’s entrepreneur community. You can join the 1785 Club here.
